The Committee plays a vital role in planning, monitoring, reviewing and coordinating development programmes, ensuring that local governance is efficient, transparent and responsive to the needs of the community.

Temporarily exercises the powers and functions of any Standing Committee that ceases to function effectively until normal functioning is restored.

Provides overall guidance on planning, resource utilization, timelines, policy implementation and risk management.
📈 Performance Review
Evaluates the progress of Panchayat programmes and recommends corrective measures whenever necessary.

Supports the Panchayat in achieving transparent, accountable and citizen-centric local governance.
