How to Find Your New Building & Ward Number in K-SMART?

Step-by-step guide to finding your updated assessment and ward details

You can easily find your new building number and ward number in the K-SMART portal using your old building number or owner's name. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official K-SMART portal, go to the Quick Service section, and select Property Tax.
  2. Click on the "Know Your Door Number" link.
  3. Select the options as specified below:
    • District: Kottayam
    • Local Body Type: Gramapanchayat
    • Local Body Name: Thalappalam
    • Ward Year: 2013 (for old ward details)
    • Ward Details: Select your current (old) ward name.
  4. Search Options:
    • By Door Number: Search using your old building number and sub-number (if applicable).
    • By Owner Name: Find details by entering the building owner's name.
✅ Result:

Upon searching, your building's new ward number and new building number will be displayed on the screen.
