The Palliative Care Programme is a home-based healthcare and care service implemented under the leadership of Thalappalam Grama Panchayat, with the support of the Health Department and the Palliative Care Team. The programme provides healthcare and support services at home to bedridden patients, persons with serious illnesses, and those requiring long-term care.
The primary objective of the programme is to improve the quality of life of patients by addressing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
