📖 About Kudumbashree
Kudumbashree in Thalappalam Grama Panchayat is a people's poverty eradication programme of the Government of Kerala, working towards the economic and social empowerment of women. Kudumbashree activities are coordinated through Neighbourhood Groups (NHGs), Area Development Societies (ADSs) and the Community Development Society (CDS) functioning across various wards of the Grama Panchayat.
Under the leadership of Kudumbashree, various activities are being implemented to ensure the economic self-reliance of women, including entrepreneurship development, skill training, agricultural activities, self-employment initiatives, microfinance activities and social development programmes.

📌 Role of Kudumbashree
Kudumbashree plays a significant role in the development activities of Thalappalam Grama Panchayat. It ensures active participation in the development process of the Panchayat by identifying beneficiaries of various government schemes, implementing programmes aimed at increasing women's income, participating in social security activities, and taking the lead in environmental protection and sanitation initiatives.
